Maximum Temp: 80°C / 176°F. Theoretical Maximum Pull: 40.2lb / 644oz / 18249g. Calculated Max Vertical Hold-guidance only: 8.04lb / 128.8oz / 3649g. This is a seriously powerful magnet and is totally unsuitable for children.

All neodymium magnets are brittle; do not allow these magnets to jump together or to an iron/steel surface - they will break, crack, chip or shatter. Serious risk of soft tissue injury if skin is trapped between magnet and steel or two magnets. These magnets are useful for a large range of DIY and MRO uses. If you need to use an adhesive, we recommend using something that will bind to metal and whatever surface you want to glue the magnet to. The pull is calculated using a mathematical formula and is, therefore, the theoretical maximum hold between one magnet and a mild steel plate.

It does not take account of manufacturing tolerances, plating, plating thickness or variances in a mild steel plate. The vertical hold is based upon the calculated pull and is, therefore, only for guidance. Factors such as paint thickness, plasticised surfaces, movement and vibration are not taken into account. WARNING: Neodymium magnets are unsuitable for children under 8. All neodymium magnets are brittle.
