Just finished, this handmade, one of a kind, eclectic, shoulder statement bag, made with vintage Italian velvet tapestry, layers of fringe, jewelry remnants and so much more! If you are like me, and touch everything when you are shopping to see how the fabric feels... You will love this bag. This is SO soft, comfy and luxurious! Majority of materials used to create my bags are up-cycled from my long time collection of unique textiles, vintage linens, trims and found treasures.

This makes them earth friendly and one of a kind. I may make similar styles, but no two bags are ever exactly the same. This''U'' shaped bag with a''V'' cutout, and the strap, are made from a gorgeous vintage Italian velvet tapestry, with a floral and dove pattern. The two layers of long collage fringe consist of: many colors of genuine suede/leather fringe, yarn braids and vintage lace in multiple colors. Main colors are pink, purple, gold, yellow, green, red, orange and other accent colors.

Vintage raised velvet, pink/purple fabric with a retro polka dot and small square pattern. Vintage brooch on strap, lovely sparkly rhinestones in colors of orange, amber and medium brown (pinned on). Red flower jewelry remnant, with rhinestone center. Vintage flower and leaves brooch. Cluster of beads and charms under the red flower. Vintage dyed pink blanket fringe. The back of the bag is wonderful with the lovely floral and dove pattern. I usually add something to the back of my bags, but this image is so pretty I just left it as is.

Lining and the two pockets on the inside are made with a traditional patterned decorator fabric, in colors of burnt orange and amber/yellow. The pockets are trimmed with vintage green fringe. The body of this bag measures 14'' across at the widest point.

It is 16.5'' tall (30'' including fringe). The measurement from the bottom of the''V'' cutout, to the bottom of the bag is 11'' (I consider this the usable space).

Strap is 35'' long from end to end. Strap feels longer than this measurement because the sides of the''V'' cutout, act as part of the strap. The two pockets on the inside, each measure 6.25'' tall and 5.5'' across. Comes with a lovely hang tag, signed by me. Double stitched for durability, even more stitching in high stress areas. Embellishments securely stitched unless I note that a brooch is pinned. This will come to you fresh and clean from my smoke free home. Thank you so much for taking a look!
